Checkout Credit Card Option non visible without zip code.

I don't check the forum often and may not be correct. Here is my best guess. In order for sales tax to be applied or variable shipping charges to be calculated based on customer location some information must be collected from the customer. This, I suppose, could be done in some other order of events. EmartCart chose to determine customer zip code up front and made this step required before continuing to checkout.

When I walk a customer through checkout this has lead to some confusion. But, I don't feel in itself has caused lost sales.

One simple solution is to give the customer a little advanced written notification on your site.

After a decade of web sales we have given up the dream of a seamless, trouble free, cash cow and reverted to encouraging customers to call us for assistance.

I've visited many cart providing services and still find EmartCard to be as trustworthy as any. Hope this helps.
